According to history, the notion of mixing hazelnut pieces with chocolate began during Napoleon’s reign, when local producers began adding little bits of hazelnuts to chocolate to make the final product go further. This was refined and the hazelnuts were then completely ground before being added to a cocoa and sugar mix.
Closely associated with Piedmont and Turin, this is our homage to this famous Italian creation. Our Gianduiot melts-in-the-mouth and has a silky smooth texture, with the delicious flavour of hazelnuts.
