Thorntons Mother’s Day Promotional Terms and Conditions

1. By entering this prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials.
2. The prize draw is only open to United Kingdom residents whom at the time of the Promotion are 18 years of age or above. The Promotion is not open to employees and immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.
3. The Promotion will begin from 00:00 on 1st of March 2025 and will end at 23:59 on 30th of March 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
4. To enter: to be entered into the Promotion, each entrant must have made a purchase on the official Thorntons website during the Promotion Period and be opted into receiving Thorntons marketing communication. Post-purchase entrants will receive a Thorntons marketing communication email inviting them to click a link to enter the promotion’s microsite. Once redirected to the appropriate microsite, each entrant must insert their full name, valid email address, and valid telephone number. Once entered, each entrant will be directed to an instant win mechanic game where they must click the ‘Tap To Play’ button to take part in the game to discover whether they have won a Prize.
5. Each entrant may submit only one entry.
6. One prize per person and per household throughout the whole Promotional Period.

8. Prizes: There are a total of 100 Physical Prizes and up to 3000 Discount Vouchers available to be won (hereinafter, collectively referred to as Prize(s)).

   • 1 x 10% unique discount code on all orders on our official Thornton’s website of a minimum spend of £20 and maximum spend of £250 valid until 1st of June 2025. The Discount Voucher cannot be stacked with other promotional codes or special offers and will be limited to one use per person.
9. Each entrant, having submitted a valid entry, will have the chance to win a Prize which will be instantly selected by a third-party algorithm. During the entire Promotional Period, there will be a total of one hundred (100) Physical Prizes and up to (3000) Discount Vouchers available to be won and selected from all valid entries received. The winners will be instantly notified if they have won a Physical Prize or Discount Voucher in the microsite. Discount Voucher winners will receive their Discount Voucher immediately in the microsite including a link to our official Thornton’s website. On the microsite and immediately after notification, Physical Prize winners will be asked to provide their GB valid delivery address for the delivery of the Physical Prize. Following the completion of the game, all entrants will also receive a notification email to the email provided on entry stating whether they have won and including either the Thorntons Discount Voucher or a link to claim their Physical Prize as appropriate. If Physical Prize winners do not claim their prize within 3 days from the notification email send date, they will forfeit their prize and the Promoter shall select other winner(s) at random, using the same mechanism.
10. 21 business days from the end of the Promotional Period, should any Physical Prizes remain unclaimed, all entries who have received a Thorntons Discount Voucher will be automatically re-entered into a ‘Mop-Up Draw’ and will have the chance to win a Physical Prize selected at random. The same notification procedure as described in Section 10 above applies to all Mop-Up Draw Physical Prize winners.
11. The Physical Prize will be sent to the winners by Royal Mail within 30 days from the date upon which the winners confirm acceptance of the Prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any delays in the delivery of the Prize.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the winners will be made available by the Promoter 4 weeks after the close of the Promotion Period, for a period of 8 weeks. It will be available by sending a request via email to Data.PrivacyUK@ferrero.com.. The winners can object to their details being published by emailing Data.PrivacyUK@ferrero.com. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
15. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize (including to any guests), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
16. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation, this also includes the selling of prizes to third parties. In the event for any reason the prize winners do not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winners and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in any way for the inability to meet delivery timeframes in the event of any national or local lockdowns, or any circumstances resulting from Covid-19 affecting the prize delivery supply chain. Should Covid-19 affect the ability to meet these deadlines, the Promoter will fulfil its obligations as soon as it is reasonably possible.
18. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the promotion or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with this promotion.
20. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected, or actual fraud). The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
21. If a winning entry from a draw is deemed not to comply with any of these conditions of entry, that entry will be discarded, and a new winner of the prize will be randomly selected.
22. Any entries that the Promoter considers in their absolute discretion to be dangerous, vulgar, offensive, indecent, illegal, or fraudulent will be disqualified from this Promotion.
23. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
24. By entering this Promotion, you give the Promoter and its agencies your consent to process your personal data for the purpose of conducting this promotion only and in its accordance with its privacy policy which can be found at: Privacy Policy. The Promoter may disclose winners’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion, fulfilling the prize, or communicating with entrants.
